My group finally downed Atheon. I had the fun job of holding the relic, which is pretty easy to mess up. Helpful tips for being a good/decent relic holder. 1. If you get ported to the right side (lush gardens), then get one person to get the shield down off the praetorian (biggest vex guy in there). Otherwise you will probably die from his melee/void blast. 2. Try to have everyone in the portal group together. It makes cleansing the mark a lot easier. As seen in the video I usually cleansed people twice while inside the portal, and once right when we exited. 3. Make sure you are far back so you always get ported. I use the relic super from the mid area to ensure this. 4. When inside the place with the oracles, dont try to hit the oracles unless you know you can hit them. I fell off the sides a few times jumping and trying to hit them. 5. The relic super has a small cooldown on it. It seems to be associated with the super detonating. Just wait for the yellow indicator to come back up before you pop the super again. 6. The most effective method i found to kill adds when ported was the jump and smash (R2 on ps4). Takes out goblins in 1 hit and praetorians in 2-3. Feel free to comment with any other tips, suggestions, or questions of your own! Good luck Guardians.
